Next we establish the severity of contamination.
After locating all urine salt deposits, we inspect each one to determine the amount of contamination. This step includes disengaging carpeting to inspect backing, pad, tack strip, and floor for urine salts and bacteria growth. This step guarantees you no bacteria will be left undetected.

Nu-Way technicians then clean, disinfect, and treat all contaminated areas with contact odor destroyers. In larger contaminated areas we replace carpet pad and tack strip as needed, and the back of the carpet and surrounding floor are cleaned and treated with odor destroyers. As a final step the affected carpet is cleaned and over-sprayed with a disinfectant.

Most carpet cleaners only mask odors using the shotgun approach. They'll saturate your entire carpet with chemicals and perfumes in hopes of covering the odor.
